Introduction:
The Journal of Chinese Medical Ethics is a sole
great journal focusing on medical ethics, medical moral and
life in China . It introduces, in time, the moral problems
present in moral development and moral standard of health
reform, health management, clinical medicine, medical
education and life science. With the feature of practical,
operative, and scientific. For one thing, it provides sanitary
managers, medical institute managers, medical ethical
educators with relative managing theory and working method to
construct profession moral well and upgrade the competivity
and brand of the medical institute. For another thing, it
provides operative criterion and methods for medical staff to
solve moral problems in clinics and deal with the relationship
between doctors and patients, so as to protect both interest,
and solve the conflict between doctors and patients.
At the same time, the journal opens up columns as
International Medical Ethics, Eyes on Medical Ethics, for the
purpose of introducing the latest development of international
medical ethics.
Developing process:
It was established in 1988. Up to now, it has
published more than 100 issues with more than 2000 papers. It
has been ranked as Chinese Scientific & Technical Core
Periodical and a Statistic Source Journal of Chinese
Scientific & Technical Papers.
In 2004, it was succeeded in expanding the edition
from 64 pages to 96 papers. After preparing, we are applying
for being a member of American medical library.
Communication & Cooperation:
The Journal bases in China and faces the world,
has published a lot of medical ethical papers from America ,
Britain , Japan and Germany . There into, the book , called
Life Ethics and Common Humanism, written by American medical
philosopher H.Tristram Enge lh ardt , was first introduced to
Chinese readers by serial published in the journal.
Many articles in the Journal has been translated
into several foreign languages and published in Kennedy
Ethical Researching Journal, Medical & Philosophy in
America , Nature and Medical Ethics in Britain and the
Medicine & Society in Japan . This makes the international
connoisseur know the researching state of medical ethics in
China . Many famous international experts are enthusiastic to
submit manuscripts into our journal.
There are English abstracts additional to every
paper in the Journal. Every issue has English contents. From
now on, we will try to publish 1 to 2 English Papers to make
it convenient for international connoisseurs to read.
Medical ethical papers from international
connoisseurs are strongly welcome. Our purpose is to promote
communication, to contribute to strengthening medical
profession ethics and constructing common medical ethics for
all human beings and doing goods to human health.
